King's Cross Treasure Hunt

It is easy to just think of King's Cross as a busy travel hub, but it is also an area of London with a rich and fascinating history.

The area was once one of the many villages which combine to form the London that we know today. The village was called Battle Bridge and legend has it that it was the site of a major battle in around AD 60 between the Romans and the Iceni tribe, led by that famous queen Boudica.

The current name of King's Cross is relatively recent and comes from a monument to King George IV which stood from 1830 to 1845 at what became known as 'the king's crossroads'. These and other facts feature in the educational aspect of our Treasure Hunt. The other aspect is, of course, fun and there is plenty to be had in this vibrant and bustling area.

Treasure Hunt recommendations

King's Cross has enjoyed significant rejuvenation in recent years and there are many bars and restaurants that we can use as a base, to start and finish your event. If you are on foot Camden Town and Regent's Park are close by and together these locations would make a very enjoyable couple of hours of fun. Contact us for further details.
