Casablanca Treasure Hunt

Casablanca is widely regarded as the economic and industrial heart of Morocco, but it’s also one of the most impressive towns in the country and it is ideal for an exotic North African Treasure Hunt.

The city was founded by Berber fishermen in the 10th century, and it was inhabited by Phoenicians, Merenids and Romans at various times. The city was also occupied by the French back in 1907, who established it as a protectorate. Casablanca gained its independence in 1956.

The predominant language is French and the city is a relatively safe place to walk around, provided you keep to the main areas. There are Hammams (Turkish baths) and a fabulous Souk (market) where you can bargain for Scavenge items on your Treasure Hunt. There are mosques and Old Medina, a walled old town.

Treasure Hunt Format

We usually start a Treasure Hunt at your hotel and take in as many locations as we can within walking distance. If you want to explore the city more thoroughly we can run the event from a coach, stopping at different locations as legs of the Treasure Hunt.

We can finish back at your hotel or find a good local restaurant where we can end the event and where you can enjoy some of the superb local cuisine. Our events and routes are tailored specifically to suit you.
