Rib Treasure Hunt

The Rib Treasure Hunt is a very exciting event. Ribs are Rigid Inflatable Boats, a hard hulled inflatable speedboat capable of speeds of 50 miles per hour. Everyone leaves this event feeling exhilarated and full of beans.

We operate a fleet of 16 matched ribs, the largest in Europe, providing events in The Solent and on The Thames for a fantastic London Treasure Hunt experience. The ribs are piloted by professional skippers who drive in close formation for an unforgettable half or full day of fun.

How the Rib Treasure Hunt works

The day begins with coffee and snacks at a suitable waterside venue, for example The Haven at Lymington Yacht Haven or The Dickens Inn at St Katherine's Dock in London (near Tower Bridge). We have some flexibility and can recommend venues close to the water in various locations. Teams are provided with high quality breathable oilskins, lifejackets, charts, cameras and stopwatches. They are split into teams and given a full safety briefing on the ribs. The challenge itself usually lasts for half a day and involves challenges from the boat and ashore, running through interesting towns and locations. For a full day event we can provide further activities; the key is not to have too much of a great thing. Also bear in mind that a leisurely lunch can add hours to a programme.
